Metalcore greatness

British metalcore band LOATHE! The four-piece, hailing from Liverpool, England, have reached cult status in the heavy music scene across the world, with three well-received albums on SharpTone Records and tours with Korn, Glassjaw and Spiritbox. With single's like "Gifted Every Strength" showing a sign of things to come, Loathe are only going from strength to strength.

With influences ranging from Meshuggah and Slipknot all the way to Erykah Baduh, Skepta and the soundtracks for Silent Hill and Blade Runner, LOATHE do something truly different. In trying to pin down their sound, genres such as nu-metal, shoegaze and metalcore are often bandied about. Whichever box you try to put them into, they're one of the best heavy bands out there at the moment and well worth seeing live.
